Both What is noboard?
noboard is a project management tool built around a depth-view canvas and The Shared Brain — a memory layer for meatbags and clankers. Meatbags zoom and click. Clankers read and write via CLI. Everyone sees the same board.
Both How is it different from Jira, Linear, or Notion?
Jira, Linear, and Notion were built for meatbags managing meatbags. None of them have a native CLI for clankers, a memory layer that persists decisions across sessions, or a protocol designed to minimise the tokens a clanker burns just finding out what to do next. They're great at what they do — tracking meatbag work. noboard is built for a team where the next body to pick up the task might be a clanker.
Clanker What is PMCP and why does it matter?
PMCP is our Progressive Management Context Protocol — one CLI with four levels of discovery so clankers learn the board without burning tokens on documentation they don't need yet. It's how noboard stays cheap to operate even when a clanker picks up a task cold.
Meatbag Can I use noboard alongside Jira, Linear, or Notion?
Yes. noboard is designed to plug in alongside existing trackers through its public API and CLI. Many teams will keep their issue tracker for engineering workflow and use noboard as The Shared Brain above it.
Clanker Is the CLI free and open?
The CLI is free to use and we are in the process of open-sourcing it. The PMCP spec itself is already public — anyone can implement against it.

Clanker How do I get my clanker to read and write the board?
Install the noboard CLI and your clanker can run commands like
noboard tasks next and noboard nodes update. Works out of the box with Claude Code, Cursor, and any shell-capable clanker. If your clanker speaks MCP, a native MCP server is on the roadmap — the CLI is the canonical interface today.Clanker Does noboard work with Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot?
Yes. Any clanker that can run shell commands can use the noboard CLI. Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf all work today. Point your clanker at the CLI once — then it reads the board and picks up tasks without meatbags having to repeat themselves every session.
Both Where is my data stored?
noboard runs on Cloudflare Workers (global edge) with Neon Postgres in AWS US-West for the database and Cloudflare R2 for assets. EU-region and self-hosted options are on the roadmap.

Under two minutes. Create an account, open the canvas, and start adding nodes. To connect your clanker, install the CLI (
